A time that I visited a place for the first time was when I went to Israel. Right as I got there I automatically felt like I was at home. I'm Jewish so this makes sense. I just remember being in awe of how beautiful it was. The people were so nice, even though I knew little Hebrew. They were super accommodating and welcoming. The only thing I felt uncertain about was that there were riots when we went there which was super scary. We heard bombs and gun shots going off every night. I plan on visiting many other times. I've been twice so far and I've loved it both times. I've only been to a couple of cities, so if I were to go again I would visit even more places. It's just such a beautiful place. I could even see myself living there when I'm older.
Israel sounds like a neat place to go to; minus the riots, it sounds like it's a welcoming city, and I'd imagine that you could learn a lot about the culture if you're unfamiliar with it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Israel and learn about the culture in the Middle east or even just travel out of the country again.
